im rising senior and probably going to take summer program
i was going to take Columbia's because it's my number one choice college
but i found Brown's summer program is like $1000 less expensive...

so i may take Brown's summer program
actually im positive i will

but i will apply Columbia as ED
does it matter though that i took Brown's summer program not Columbia's?

just curious

You should take the course because it interests you, not because your trying to apply to that college, I took the Columbia summer program for business, and I learned a lot, and decided I wanted to go into business, however im pretty sure it wouldnt have helped me get into Columbia...since almost anyone can get in if they can pay.

I don't think in matters in terms of helping your admittance chances. It shows you're into Columbia, but so does applying ED and your "Why Columbia" blurb.

ok i guess it doesn't matter

i just thought it would be ironic for them
if i take Brown's even though i said i luv Columbia

thanks~

Regular summer programs are not really considered in the admissions process.
