Does It Matter

I just graduated out of high school, so answers to these questions will be appreciated :

Say if I'm looking to major in Civil Engineering and I choose to go to City College of New York, will I be be a good candidate for a job after graduating?
2.Does City College have a strong background? Meaning, if I do apply for a job after getting my (lets say bachelors degree) degree, will employers look at my educational history and say, "this guy is a joke", or "this guy is ready for the job" ?
3.Will I be making at least 80grand after leaving City College with a bachelors degree, and a Structural Engineering Certificate ?

Depends on what you do while you’re at City College. Take lots of math. Get an internship or a co-op. It’s really important you have some work experience before you graduate.

See #1.

Unlikely. Just checked salaray.com Civil Engineer I in New York City (zip 10001). 90% of people holding that position in that location make less than $74,000 per year.

Try for NYU-Poly, which I assume is on par with City and is more nationally recognized.
