I don’t know if you got an answer to this, but we toured Kent this fall and my son is also interested in Robotics. They used to have a FIRST robotics team but now they only do the Solar Car Challenge. I seemed like they only have one faculty advisor who was interested in robotics and he chose to focus on the solar car instead of FIRST. They have a nice space for these activities, and the advisor gave us a tour of the solar car. But ultimately, my son decided not to apply as he is already involved in FIRST robotics and wasn’t as interested in the solar car.
