Does knowledge in Alg 2 enough for AP stats ?

<p>So I am taking both Pre Calc and AP stats next and I am a little worry. I am pretty good at arithmatic but the signs in AP stats look so hard and tempting and IDK if I should wait until I finish with Pre-Calc to take Stats. Anyone here took stats before or at the same time at pre-calc ?</p>

Statistics to my knowledge is a completely different type of math from the traditional high school math courses. In my school, you can do AP Stats right after you finish Algebra II, so you can take it as early as freshman year if you wanted to. I wouldn’t recommend taking it at the same time just because you won’t know what to expect (and because it seems difficult to you). You could take it and do well, but IMO pre-calc seems like the better option.</p>
