Does leadership make up for otherwise “ordinary” ECs?

I applied SCEA this year with excellent GPA and SAT scores, but I’m kind of concerned about my ECs. Everything is very typical: beta club, math club, science olympiad, sports, etc. I do have a few leadership positions: VP (11-12); Co-President (11-12); Co-President (12); Secretary (12). I know leadership won’t really make me stand out, but are my ECs really that bad once you factor in the leadership positions?

leadership means more than having positions. It depends on what you have done in those leadership positions, how much time you devote to the activities, and how that dedication is conveyed in the admissions process (activities blurb, essays, interview, recommendations, awards/honors).

yeah...I kinda forgot to mention what I do as Beta Club president (organized multiple $2000+ fundraisers, blood drives, etc.) I also never said that I have 500+ service hours. Do you I could fax or email them this information and still have it considered for SCEA?

I emailed my regional admissions person and attached a document with the stuff I left off my application. I hope this doesn't make me seem careless or hurt my chances at all :(

^ I think they are used to dealing with teenagers! :) As chronicidal says, it's all about what you accomplished - if you forgot to tell them, by all means do so now.
