Does Live "Admission Deposit" Link mean you're admitted?

My D's interactive site "admission deposit" link is live and ready to take our money. But a call to the admissions office yielded the information that it's either "routine site maintenance" or "all applicants' deposit links are active" and to wait till after 4/1 to receive letter. Anyone have the straight info on this? Thanks in advance!

For EA decisions, the deposit link was active (and I believe not so for those deferred or rejected) before we received acceptance- so I would say that means.....ACCEPTED!!! Congrats!

Thanks, 1anxiousmom (your name describes us all!).

I don't know of anyone whose link was active that DIDN'T get in. I didn't have the link but still got in. So who knows what its deal is..

where is the link supposed to be? my page just says that the application deadline has passed and i submitted it on whatever date

Coconut - After you log in at interactive.emerson.edu, select "admission deposit" on the left side of the screen. It will read either "not accepting deposits at this time" or have buttons to click on to make tuition and/or housing deposit.

uhoh...my link isn't active

mine isnt either. :(

neither is mine, but I think it may not mean anything yet. I was pretty sure I got in because they keep asking for all this financial aid stuff really recently, and I figured if I didn't get in, why would they still be looking over my financial need? Maybe it's an alphabetical thing so they haven't gotten to our names yet. We can only hope.

yea possibly...i noticed that about a week ago for all my financial aid documents it said "not reviewed" but then a few days ago they were all reviewed and it said "received"...maybe it means they were putting together a fin aid package? idk

ohhh alphabetical i hope! i'm a W. i didn't apply for financial aid. i wish theyd just let us know online :(

yeah they kept on asking for all my financial stuff back in feb...i thought that was an indication because why would they care if i wasnt excepted...but then again that was feb...

Emerson was doing the same to me for my finaid around that time...they also didn't receive my SAT scores from collegeboard. After all that was taken care of, I haven't heard from them since...?

When I applied EA (got deferred) my admission deposit screen never changed..but recently..it changed and i have the option of submitting deposits. This has to mean something??? Why do some people have this option and some don't? Does anyone have any definite answer for this Admission Deposit issue? It seems like such a strange glitch for Emerson to just not fix. Whenever I call, they say "Don't make a deposit until the official letter arrives." or "That just happens when all students' apps are complete". THIS IS DRIVING ME INSANE!!!

I had gotten a couple of financial things in feburary and have continued to right into last week, lol

Spoke to them this morning and got 2 different stories. One person told me that letters were being mailed April 1, another said they were going out today and tomorrow. Both said the live deposit link didn't mean anything but I don't completely believe that based upon what I have read on cc

The same sort of thing happened to me. Called yesterday and I was told that letters are going out today. Then today, another person said letters are going out April 1st. I told him that was a sunday and he then said that they'll just "go out around then". I also think the Admission Deposit thing HAS to mean something, and Emerson just isn't saying anything about it. Anyone else have anything interesting? I wish we could all just get definite answers about when letters are being sent and what that Admission Deposit means...

my deposit thing hasnt changed :(

Umm how do get on to interactive emerson, i know how to get on the apply yourself thing..

You go to www.interactive.emerson.edu. Then click LOG IN.

After you sent in your app, Emerson should've sent you a letter with your Login and Password on it.
