I got deferred from Loyola after applying Early Action and I was just curious as Loyola is one of my top choices.
I don’t know for sure about Loyola but schools typically reject EA applicants who clearly don’t meet their academic criteria.
I know someone who was deferred last year, then got waitlisred, but later got in off of the waitlist.
I was also deferred and Im pretty sure that I met the requirements. I was also accepted at Fordham through early action, which is supposed to be harder to get into. I also don’t understand why Loyola would send me emails saying that I might be a good match for the honors program if they knew they were going to defer me. @Willk04
