Does math i sat 2 count?

I'm a junior now and i took the Math 1 sat soph. year and the bio sat this year.

Recently ive been told that colleges frown upon math 1 and like to see math 2. Should i take the Math 2 sat next fall or not even bother?

-thanks

I don’t think they “frown upon” math I but if you have nothing better to do with a saturday morning I would take math II.

Only take math 2 if you can do well on it. An 800 in math 1 looks better than a 600 in math 2.

Depends. Caltech, MIT, etc. generally want to see Math2. For a school not so engineering-focused, either will suffice.

is there a difference between a 720 in math II and a 750? if i got a 720 should i bother taking it again?

The UCs do not accept Math 1; if you submit a math it has to be Math 2. Stanford, which recommends but does not require SAT IIs, recommends Math 2 if you submit a math. Otherwise, colleges that require IIs usually take either (and that includes MIT and Caltech)

Not quite - MIT and Olin are happy with either one, but Caltech and Mudd require the Level 2. But you can find out easily by looking at schools you are interested in and seeing their special requirements. You should do that anyway just to make sure there are no surprises.
