Does Miami look at combined SAT scores?

I was wondering if Miami looked at your highest SAT scores.

For example, I took the SAT last June and had a MUCH MUCH MUCH higher math score then when I took it this past October.

This happened cause I focused on the verbal and writing section more the second time around.

So my highest math score is in June, and the other two sections are from October.

What will Miami look at?

Yes, Miami will look at the highest score for each math and verbal and combine them to get your total score. I believe all colleges are doing this now. That is why it is very advantageous to take the SAT's more than once.

Yes, Miami will look at the combined score.

DO NOT CONFUSE THIS WITH OTHER SCHOOLS!

A lot of schools, particularly upper-tier schools will only look at "single-sittings" of the SAT or ACT. While Miami is not one of these schools, you'll have to check with each individual school to confirm that they combine scores.
