Just wondering if Miami superscores ACT for admission and/or merit scholarships. I currently have 33 ACT Superscore is 34. I am a junior and will be taking it again. My unweighted GPA is 4.0, weighted is 4.6. What are my chances for admission and merit scholarships? I saw some students listing ACT scores but did not state if they were straight score or superscored.
Miami does superscore the ACT. I would expect you would get some merit aid, but I have not been following the merit awards lately as my son is a UM sophomore. He had a 32 ACT and 4.0 and got a nice academic scholarship. It’s probably gotten even more competitive since the HS class of 2013. Keep your grades up in rigorous classes when you’re a senior and you will be good to go!
