Does Mich take unbalanced (academically) people?

I'm wondering about my chances and whether UMich looks at the breakdown in ACT scores. I have roughly 24 in the science/math sections and 31-34 on the reading/humanities sections, with 12 on the essay. (I took the test twice with a slight improvement the second time.) My grades are similar: A or A- in all humanities and B in maths/science. I want to be a nuclear physicist or engineer. (Just kidding; I want to study literature and have a lot of related awards and extra curricular activities.) How much will my poor scores in math and science affect my chances of admission?

Regarding chances for unbalanced people. I think it depends heavily on your EC's and essays. My SAT scores were: V700, W770, M550 and I'm in my first year at Michigan.
