I was just wondering whether top schools like the MIT require the SAT 2?
Additionally, could any one list me the top schools that do require the SAT 2.

Thanks in advance.

Go here for a list of colleges that require, recommend or consider SAT subject tests: [Compass: Admissions Requirements](<a href=“SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group”>SAT Subject Test Requirements and Recommendations - Compass Education Group) MIT requires two subject tests and one must be a math, either Math1 or Math2, and the other a science (Chemistry, Physics or Biology)

It does require SAT2. Math2 and Science mid 50 around 750-800 with the median near 800. See the link below for stat:

Most top schools do require SAT2 while some recommend. In other words, you do need to take SAT2 if you want to apply to them. UIUC is one of the few top engineering schools that do not require/recommend SAT2. No recommendation letter either.
