Does MIT view a 71 as C-

i have a similer problem, but i got a B- in the class. Should i get some info on it? or should i just let it go? I had a lot of B's and B- as a frosh/soph (first semester) but now am getting a 4.0 uw. (rising trend) should i try to get my teach to mention that i would have gotten an A or should i use it to enhance the trend? i doubt my teach would fix this for me, but its worth trying. btw: i forgot my name on an extremely important assignment (like half the quarter grade or more)

B's wouldnt really be dire

but once you hit below an 80, your in trouble

I'm getting a bit scared.
I take the 'O' Levels and a 75 is an A1 the best grade you can get.
And they test you on Stuff thats 100000000 times ( not exagerating) harder than the SATs.

yeah... actualy I was just thinking how much I'd love to get a 71 on my physics final o_O

...or even 67...

...or...

lol...

well I guess the only thing I have to do is wait for school to start up again... and hope my english teacher is willing to write a letter, if not then i'll ask the GC and jus get him to sign it (+ have the grade breakdown sheet attached with MidYear Report)..

yay more stuff to worry about.

Peace

Hehe, it's good that you can go to your guidance counselor like that, and it seems like you're going about getting this taken care of the right way.

Hope things go well for you!

Yeh,
Although I wouldnt mind going to a state school (already accepted to UT - yay top 10% rule)... I hope I can get into a top 10 school..

The C- shouldnt be the end of me and the end of my dreams

Hopefully

Hey, in-state tuition is never a bad thing! Where in Texas are you?

Houston
I'm a hispanic UMR - low income (first gen to graduate from High school and first gen to go to college).. tuition shouldnt be that big of a problem.
