Does my college list seem reasonable with these stats?

Here are my stats:

White/Asian male rising senior from San Diego, California

UW GPA: 3.85
W GPA: 4.12 (School only weights AP's, not honors or anything else)

SAT: 2250
CR:760 M:690 W:800

SAT II
USH: 730
Biology E: 700
I am taking some more in the fall (Literature, USH again, Math II)

AP (Will have taken a total of 9 AP classes and 8 AP tests by the end of senior year)
English Language- 5
USH- 5
Biology- 4
World History- 3

I've taken many honors classes (not weighted at my school, resulting in lower average weighted gpa's) and 5 AP's so far (going to take 4 more my senior year).

My EC's are
Legal Assistant at Sports Injury Law Firm (20 hours a week during summer, 10 during school year)
President and Founder of Philosophy Club
Intern for Local Independent Mayor Campaign
President of Japanese National Honors Society
Volunteer at Birch Aquarium (200 hours, 300 by app time)
I realize that my EC's are a little scattered but I hope they are good for someone who wants to be either a Political Science or Philosophy Major
I play in a band (indie-rock), we play payed gigs about once a month, we released an EP earlier this year
School Choir and Traveling Choir group (big fan of a cappella)
there are more but those are my main ones

Awards:
AP Scholar with Honor
National Merit Commended
3-Time Japanese National Scholar

Here is my current college list:
Vassar
Wesleyan
Oberlin
Bowdoin
Colby
Carleton
U of Michigan
Wash. U in St. Louis
UC: Berkeley, LA, SB, SC, and Davis

Does this seem reasonable? Should I shoot lower? higher?

Thanks!!

Do u know your class rank?

Good job on the SAT. Everything looks pretty solid. I’d say you’re right where you should be college-wise! You’ll definitely have a solid shot at the UC system :)

Could you chance me too?
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1401307-i-made-list-please-check-twice.html

If you are ranked in the top 1 to 5 percent then I think it will help your chances at a lot of these schools. Your SAT scores are solid for most of these schools and I think your ecs are interesting, but its hard to gauge how each college will view them. Make sure your essays are great and if you are ranked in the top 5 percent then I think you have a good shot at all of these schools, I wouldn’t reach higher unless you have a strong desire.

I think you have a solid chance of getting into those schools. Your ECs sound great. Good luck!

Remember re SAT many colleges look only at CR + M (1450) and so the 800 writing will not help you there. SAT II’s decent, but not at highest level. Grades and ECs are impressive (especially rock band; what instrument do you play?) given that you work 10 hours during school year.

Assume with those grades you are between top 5 and 10%, but if higher that will help at very top schools. Are you taking Calculus B/C and Physics C or another science AP senior year? Many schools use those as benchmarks to measure curriculum difficulty. My guess is since you are a good student from CA the answer is yes that you are taking those classes. If not, some schools may question whether you have taken the most difficult curriculum possible regardless of number of AP classes as all APs are not created equal. AP scores ok. Asian from CA (that sucks re college admissions). Will help that you like LACs and are out of region at many of them.

I think your target list is good, with a nice variety. Plenty more to know, but based on what you have stated here are my guesses.

Wash U, Berkeley, Carleton = low reaches (33 to 50%) (using an ED at Carleton would likely out you over the top)

Wesleyan, Bowdoin, Vassar, UCLA = low matches (50 to 66%)

Michigan, Colby, Oberlin, Southern Cal = matches (66 to 90%)

Davis and SB and safeties (over 90%)
