Does my essay fit any of the common app prompts?

Basically I wrote about how my whole life I've been nothing more than "average" and how recently I've turned that around (mentioning notable turnaround in grades). I think it's a pretty good essay and convincing but I'm not sure if it directly fits into any of the prompts. Can someone help me out and read it please? I will PM it if interested.

I will take a look…it sounds like it would fit the overcoming challenges – but depending on tone it could be prompt 5(?) your transition to adulthood. Happy to read…

Number one is very broad and can cover any background story. Otherwise, possibly number two as a failure to live up to your capabilities or expectations? Pm it if you’d like.

Its in the transition to adulthood essay.

The prompts are all loose anyway. As long as your essay can be connected to a prompt in some manner (which it can be), it’s fine. You don’t have to write to definitively answer a prompt- it’s just a starting point to begin the creative process.
