Does my list look OK?

<p>I'm an African American junior from NC at charter school rated 40th the country and I'm in a single parent household</p>

<p>UW: 3.25 W: 4.0 (9th: 2.7,3.7 | 10th 3.5,4.1 | 11th so far 3.6,4.9)
SAT: 1840 CR:590 M:610 W:640 (retaking +ACT, I think it will change a lot because I got a 72 in reading on the PSAT)
AP: AP Gov (5), will have 7 or 8 by graduation, 4 this year</p>

<p>EC:
-German Club (president)
-German club at NCSU
-2 ECs for community service and helping the needy in particular (parliamentarian in one, intern at the other)
-Tutoring (German)
-Mock Trial (captain)
-social justice club
-Tri-M Music Honor Society (11, quitting band so I'll only be in it for 11th grade)</p>

<p>Starting later this year:
-National Honor Society
-National German Honor Society
-Job
-May join my school's new Key Club-replacement club (volunteering and what not)</p>

-2nd in state on national German exam level 2
-Best camper at camp with over 200+ participants
-Winning group at both business camp and emerging issues for future leaders (at NCSU)</p>

<p>have you run the “net price calculators” for some of these schools? you’ll need to know what you and your mom can afford. The OOS schools are going to be more expensive than the in-state schools. Get back to us.</p>

<p>Only in-state public schools and private schools will give you need-based aid. I don’t think any of the oos publics would give you merit, but they should have some requirements for GPA and test scores for certain scholarships that you can look up. </p>

<p>it would be really helpful, OP, to know your CR+M breakdown.</p>

<p>The CR+M breakdown is there… what will be helpful is seeing the new scores after the SAT is taken again.</p>

<p>Hi :slight_smile: I’m an African-American female, junior, and live in a single-parent home in NC aswell. (The only reason why replied to this thread). If you keep your grades up, I honestly think you can get into UNC-Chapel Hill. They easily take in In-State applicants. Plus you’re a legacy and a male, so you have an advantage. </p>
