Schools Im looking at are:
Rice (parents went there, grandpa was a professor there until a few years ago)
Carnegie Mellon University
Washington University in St Louis
Emory (Oxford College, Early Action) P.S. if you don't know what oxford college is, just chance me for regular Emory, but please indicate which one you are chancing me for
Cornell (Early Decision)
Wake Forest
Tufts
Notre Dame (Early Action)
Northwestern (possibly early decision, it's either this or cornell)
University of Chicago (i know, its a reach...)
Johns Hopkins University

Im looking to major in Mathematics, if you wanna read my common app essay just say so or PM me!

Also, if i make a 4.0 GPA my freshman year at say Texas A&M or UT what are my chances of being able to transfer to MIT?

Your chances are fine at all of them, but bring your grades up if you can. Applying anywhere ED with a 3.4 UW GPA might be a stretch, but for regular admission your chances will be better.

A few other points:

I’m pretty sure that applying to Cornell ED means you’re not allowed to apply to Notre Dame EA. Check Cornell’s admissions policies before doing this, or you’ll blow your chances at both schools.

Chicago is no more of a reach than any of the others.

Why Emory-Oxford? You’re good enough for plain-old Emory.

Yah, you don’t need Emory-Oxford…Your good for Emory alone…

Oh well oxford emory is EA and its gonna be my safety. Its pretty much too late to bring up my grades, but im gonna try to make straight As my first semester

anyone else wanna chance me?

Anyone else wanna chance me?

I think that you’d have a pretty good chance at Northwestern/Cornell if you go ED. If you’re sure, ED would make a lot of sense, I think.

Hey sweet! Haha northwestern is really the school i wanna go to

Bump bump bump
