Hey everyone. I am a currently a junior in high school and I plan on applying for the U of MN in December when the deadline is due. I plan on applying to the school of business there but I have a pretty bad application as it stands. I want to use this upcoming summer and my senior year to boost up my 3.35 GPA (Taking 3/6 honors/AP). Since the application is due on December 2013 I would be very early in my senior year and I wouldn't have the opportunity to do much.

Do I have this process all wrong or am I screwed?

I would probably apply early and then send your first semester marks as a supplement to your application if you have not heard back by December.

Has your GPA trended up/down/flat? What are your SAT/ACT scores?

GPA has trended wayyyy up. Like I was getting a D and lots of C’s freshman year. Sophomore year I averaged a 3.4-3.5 is gpa and with 1 4.0 quarter. This year(junior) I got a 3.49 and 2nd trimester 3.4 because of 1 C in math class. This quarter I have 5 A minuses and still have that annoying C in my impossible math class.

ACT I will take in June.
