I go to Christian Highschool, my teachers say that all non-chrisitian colleges re-calculate your gpa, without your religious grade. But some of them look at it anyway. Ive also heard that some colleges only go by the a,b,c, scale and if you get a B- they will change it to a B. I find this hard to believe, but it would definatly help.

Religious classes do not count towards your GPA because no credits are earned for those classes. My son attended Christian schools before transferring to a public high school in the 10th grade. His bible courses are listed in the school district's computer system but do not show up on the transcript. I think the classes should count as an elective but I'm not the policy maker. :(

If the religious classes are listed on your transcript, the admissions board will obviously see that you have taken those classes. The Naval Academy does not use your GPA as a factor in the admissions process. Instead, the academy uses your class rank, which is indicative of how well you have performed compared to your peers in the same curriculum.

Yeah, it is a class and does take up study time so it should count at least as an elective or something. I'll probebly graduate from christian highschool so it would be on my transcript though
