does northwestern go by central time zone

if i'm in california, i can turn it in anytime before 10 today right? or do they go by eastern time. haha its sad but one hour makes a difference!

I would think they go by central time zone, because that's what they're in, but I'm not positive if that's the time they go by for the cut off.

ok, so i'm being dumb, but that means that since i'm in ET, i get an extra hour?

I think so.. because if it's midnight in Chicago, it's 1:00 eastern time. I would call the admissions office to make sure that they go by central time just to be sure.. I wonder if they are there today though?

NU is on central time. For sure. That means if you are on the east coast, NU is one hour behind; if you are on the west coast, NU is two hours ahead.

d a m n i t! I could have had 1 extra hour to do my app! Oh well, its in now. Hahaha, is everyone else doing Northwestern last too? It's not cause I dont like the school...its cause I hate the application. How do you all feel about the app?

lol, i thought the app was fairly easy; it was just the essay that killed me. but after i finally put it to paper, it was all good. and about that extra hour thing...i managed to finish it (my very last app) early...at 9:30 pm. woohoo for procrastination and for now being true second semester seniors!

I took full advantage of the extra hour and submitted at 12:38 AM. I'd like to thank you guys for helping fellow procrastinators realize they all had another much needed hour.

Hmm how does one know if their application is late or not?

I submitted mine at 12 am exact today Mountain standard time!! ( isnt that amazing ? clicking submit at 12?)
