does not getting mail from a college u applied to mean they aren't interested in you

^^^^After I received confirmation that my colleges have everything, I haven't really gotten anything in the mail from them...ever. Is there any connection there that maybe they aren't interested in admitting me. Or is it just something else.

Don't worry about it. After they get everything, it isn't likely for people to hear anything until the decision comes.

what about colleges that keep mailing you?? NYU keeps mailing me stuffs, and I don't why. I'm not even top of the cream.

oh man, i have the same exact fear!!! every board i go i see things about likely letters and how like 300-500 people get them. To me, for regular decision, 300-500 seems like a huge number.

I'm terrified for march31/april 1

Likely letters are pretty unlikely overall. They are intended to create a feeling of goodwill on the part of auto-accepts so that they will be more likely to chose to attend.

I haven't gotten anything either, except, "Hey, the decision will be online on March 30. Check it while we laugh at your pathetic application."

Which isn't much better, believe me.

HYPSM doesn't bother sending out much mail to non-URM students becasue they know that most students havve already heard from them.
