Does not have an online decision for you at this time?

Dear Shahruz,

Cornell University’s Undergraduate Admissions Office does not have an online decision for you at this time. Please refer to the decision letter that you will be receiving in the mail shortly.

Sincerely,

Jason Locke
Director
Undergraduate Admissions Office
Cornell University

Anyone know what this means? Anyone else gotten something similar?

I searched and found someone from last year who got the same letter and was waitlisted, but I'm curious to see if anyone has had different experiences.

I could not get accessed to the online decision too. But even didn’t see this info. Oh, so weird… Only wish for the mailed letter…

Haha, I searched for it too. I got the same response, as did AT LEAST two others in the forums apparently? I have no clue what it means. Some speculated that they processed our materials later than everyone else and didn’t have a response. Others questioned waitlist, but I think some people actually got a waitlist notification.

My son got that message, as well (Does not have an online decision for you at this time). I called ILR Admissions to find out what it meant. They had no idea but told me all letters were mailed on 3/31 and if we don’t receive them by Friday, then I should call back and they will give me my son’s decision over the phone on Friday.

I had the exact same problem; except when I called they told me to either wait for the mail or call back on Monday.

I’m still hopeful though…

Well I called Cornell today- they said that they hadn’t received my high school transcript or predicted grades from my school…
