No. They don’t require interviews, only recommend them, especially for kids that live nearby. My son never interviewed, and he was admitted. However, he’s not an international student. You have it tougher to begin with because there aren’t that many international students admitted. Good luck!
Haverford likes to get to know the students. Awkwardness is not a dealbreaker with them, as it may be with other schools. I would encourage it, because it builds a more personal connection with the school, which they appreciate.
