I was looking at the NYU online application and I didn't see a Midyear school report print out form.

I saw a secondary school report but I didn't see a Midyear school report form.

However, on the common app NYU application, I saw that it said that NYU requires Midyear school reports and obviously the common app has a print out form for midyear school reports.

So what is the deal here? Why is it that the NYU application online doesn't have a print out form for the Midyear school report?

Is it because NYU doesn't require it?

I hope they don't.

Of course they require it. Why wouldn't they?

What usually happens is that your HS sends the midyear report to all the schools you applied to, whether there is a specific form for it or not.

Ah I see.

Oh well, so much for my hope that NYU didn't see my midyear school report.

It might include 2 Bs and I am applying to NYU Stern.

Oh well, I will hope for the best.

Actually, I just pulled up an earlier thread that said it was not required.

They do not require midyear grades. Your school may claim to send them anyway (as mine did), but NYU won't look, b/c it's not required.

NYU has never routinely required mid-year reports, for either E.D. or R.D. applicants. They do ask for them for some students but only if there is a reason for them to have them in the admissions process. If they want them, they'll let you know. In June, they require final official transcripts from all accepted students.

Good. NYU rocks then.

if my senior year grades so far have been awesome, would nyu consider them?

bump? look at above post
