Does NYU require SAT II's

Hi. I plan on applying ED to NYU Stern as an undergraduate. On the site, it says under additional application requirements something about SAT II Subject Tests. Does Stern require SAT II's? I was planning on submitting my ACT score.

Thanks!

Does your Google work??

^^Agree. You need to check the school’s website for that type of information.

.

That was the confusing part because I saw that, however, I also saw under ‘additional requirements’ something about submitting SAT II’s for Stern.

You mean this?

That’s if you submit SAT IIs or APs in place of SAT or ACT. That’s why there is an “or”. You can always send off a note to the admissions dept to clarify.

I’m just curious - if I am reading this right, do applicants applying to NYU not really need to take the ACT/SAT, but just 3 subject tests or 3 AP? I’ve never seen that done before.

Yes. There are a few other schools that do something similar. <a href=“ACT/SAT Optional List - Fairtest”>http://www.fairtest.org/university/optional</a> Look for the colleges denoted with a 5.
