Just got my Nov. SAT scores, and i improved in math like i intended to, so if i add up my best scores from each section i now have a 1950.

but does nyu do that, or do they see through my sneaky plan of concentrating in one area at a time?

Writing 580

They find your “superscore”

:)

They superscore both the SAT and the ACT (per their admissions’s forum this year.)

Are you sure about the ACT superscore? I trhought they did it for SAT, but not for ACT…

The superscore both. I went to an admissions session 2 weeks ago and they said they did.

See, when I called NYU Admissions about 2 month ago, the admission officer said they take the highest single sitting.

However, the admissions board says this (which is more recent):
[ACT “superscore” - Topic Powered by Eve Community](<a href=“http://nyu.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9834033161/m/625105775]ACT ”>http://nyu.infopop.cc/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9834033161/m/625105775 )

“If the student sits the exam more than once, the highest subscores are put together to create the composite. The committee reviews only the highest overall composite score.” – So in other words, they superscore. right?

I really hope they do. That way I’ll have a 31!

^^^ Based on that, they superscore both the SAT and ACT.
