Does one have to be a student in order to live in 2400 Nueces?

I'm an early 20's recent grad from a university in another state and I'm moving to Austin for my new job, which is not in anyway related to UT Austin. Is it possible for me to take over someone's 2400 Nueces lease as a non-student? The person claims I don't have to be a student but the website seems to indicate otherwise.

Thanks for the help

Edit: and same question about Grayson House and The Penthouse at Callaway

From what I understand about 2400 Nueces is that it is mostly college freshmen. Same for Calloway House. Calloway House is privately owned and I think that 2400 Nueces is owned by the University. They are probably both full unless you are interested in an efficiency. I would call the office and ask…although Im not sure why you would want to live with 18 year olds…

I am not sure why you would want to live where college students live. West campus is uniquely UT and unlike much of the rest of Austin which is a pretty normal city.

You don’t have to be a student to live at Grayson or any of the other Quarters on Campus properties. However, you might want to look elsewhere as you’ll be paying more there.
