Now, During my senior year, I plan on taking 6 AP Courses, and I'm currently taking 6 Honor Courses during my Junior year, ...I took 4 Honor Courses my Sophmore year 1 Regular and Gym (which is excluded out of the GPA), ...my freshman year, I took 5 Honor Courses and 1 Regular, ...and for some reason the have to average 3 certain honor courses of our 8th grade year as well (only if we had taken them), so I took those three courses.

Sooo, now to my question...
If I decide to take addition honor courses during the summer, do you think it will slightly increase my GPA, or make a huge improvement.

*Take into consideration that I would have taken more courses than anyone of my graduating class and more than we need...

Please give me your feedback on this. Thanks everyone.

It SHOULD increase it. I'm not sure, because I don't know how your school does things, but to me it seems like it would.

Thanks very much. I thought so too, but now it's just a matter of "by how much", because if it's only just a few points like .32.. , it would do much. I'm asking this because I'm trying to make up for those final B's that I received so I could get a higher class rank :-)

Yes it would, but like at my school, that sorta thing is not allowed so people don't get an "unfair" advantage, you can only take classes in the summer that you failed during the year .. . . . . .. .

Make sure you check with YOUR GC before attempting this
and also you know, take it a little easy during the summer, cuz in the long run, you're just gonna wish you had all those summer break days over after you get into college..

Sarorah, your school is exactly like us in that we can only take classes we failed, or take additional courses so we can graduate early, and there really isn't honor courses available during the summer here...nor have they told us that in the situation that there is, that it would be against the rules to take them.

However, we are allowed to take extra courses that are mandatory, like GYM, so when our next year comes, we could replace it with an honors course.

And since they don't have honor courses around here available in any local school, people go on vacation or whatever (out-of-state) and may like take courses somewhere over there if they have honors, and oddly, our counselors accept them.

Well, based on what I understand of the system at your school, yes.

Trolllllll!!!!!!!!
