DS is filling out the common app and it asks if parent works for a college and wants CEEB number. Will this hurt admission chances if he checks yes? Some colleges offer tuition reduction or free tuition for children of parents who work at other universities. My university does not belong to this and my kids are full pay wherever they go. I'm just wondering if colleges see that box checked if they may think DS would be getting free or reduced tuition at their college and it may hurt his chances.

Absolutely not. The CEEB field for parents who are employees of a university was added at the request of member colleges to help them more easily identify students who might be eligible for tuition exchange programs. In other words, the CEEB data is used to facilitate internal reporting purposes.
