Does Passing the AP Exam really mean I'm qualified?

<p>I am self studying the AP Calculus BC exam and hoping to get a 4+. I got a 4 on the AB exam last year. I am concerned that if I do get a 3+ on the BC exam and, as a result, skip Calc I and II at my university, will I be adequately prepared for Calc 3?</p>

<p>It depends on the college. Many colleges will have a math placement test. Better still, get a copy of and old Calc II final. If you can pass that, you would be prepared for Calc III</p>
