My family really can't pay the fee right now and it is the only thing that has not been satisfied on my application status check.

Just apply asap and wait for outcome

No they don’t automatically accept them they denied mine.
But they did waive my $400 deposit though after they reviewed my fin aid app

What kind of fee waiver did you use? And how can I appeal to get my fee waived? My family has NO money.

I used the Penn Fee Waiver. I’m sure if you get a fee waiver from your counselor it’ll be fine. If you can’t get one from your counselor I’m sure you can email or call them to discuss your situation.
For NYU I sent them an email saying how we have no money and they said ok. Not sure what Penn will do.

I had a question about this too. I have a college board fee waiver and I selected that on my common app so do I just send it in? And who do I address it to and do I need to include some kind of brief letter or include my application ID or anything? Also, does it matter if it’s postmarked by the deadline? I’m not sure if the post office is going to be open tomorrow =/

I don’t think it matters if you send it after the deadline. And I just sent them the request with my full name on it. I’m not sure if it asks for your SSN. Regardless, I’m sure they are able to match your fee waiver request to your application.
