<p>my father (NC Parent) got a mail from Penn, handsigned by some guy who asked him for some more financial information... is that a good sign?</p>

<p>i'm hoping it is a good sign, especially since it is a trend for me with other schools. both wellesley and williams requested additional financial aid information before they accepted me.</p>

<p>for me, they asked my non custodial parent to mail his information to them asap.. i didn't know he hasn't already.. b/c the lady told me it's due at a later date.. but i got an email for harvard, asking for things too.. weird.. hope you're right.</p>

<p>they needed the institutional something-or-other form. my understanding is we had already submitted fafsa, css profile, etc. (i don't know a lot about financial aid forms), and this request was necessary for the completion of my financial aid application.</p>
