Does Penn Look At Individual ACT Scores?

Title say it all...wondering if Penn only looks at your combined ACT score or on the individual sections. The reason I ask is because I wasn't able to finish the Science and CR sections :(

Thanks for the help!

And how much did you get?’
I think that every college look at individual scores for admission… as a way to see in which academic area you are good… I mean if you want to study engineering, I think that they’ll expect you to have a pretty good score at the math section of the ACT…
But anyway, that is just my opinion,… who knows…

I doubt a prestigious and highly selective university such as Penn would offer such a cursory look at major tests, so I’m going to say that they definitely look at the individual scores. My suggestion is you retake the ACT.

If you do poorly on 2 of the sections, your overall score probably isn’t too great either, unless you scored perfectly on the others. Can’t hurt to try again once or twice.

Hmm yea the ACT science isn’t really science it was really data interpretation, Once you (well me) looked at it that way It made it super easy xD. I had a super good SAT score so comparatively my SAT was better. Guessing you’re a junior right? How are your SAT scores compared to ACT you don’t have to submit your ACT if it was a lower 30.

I know people who took multiple SATs/ACTs and focused on one section primarily each and sent combined scores to colleges

UPenn Frequently Asked Questions says:
“We consider the best combination of SAT components, but require that all testing scores be sent to us. Taking the SAT more than once does not hurt your chances.”

Hope that helped a little, if you’re a junior you can always retake them other wise don’t worry about it, it’s already done xD
