Hello,
It's not clear to me from Penn's website whether Penn offers an undergrad major in applied math. Any math majors at Penn -- or anyone else -- care to weigh in?

I know they have actuarial mathematics ([University Minor in Acturial Mathematics](http://www.math.upenn.edu/ugrad/actuarial.html)) which is- to my knowledge- similar to math (correct me if I’m wrong, though) as a minor. And you can concentrate in actuarial science if you are in Wharton, which is also similar to applied math.

Thank you, caughtintraffic; that’s a helpful link. My daughter also looked at detailed descriptions of Penn’s math course offerings, and it seems many of the topics covered under the rubric of applied mathematics at other schools are actually covered in some of the graduate level (500 level, or master’s level) courses.
