Does Penn State University Park recalculate grades?

<p>Does Penn State University Park recalculate grades, or do they just look at what is on your transcript?</p>

<p>If they do recalculate...</p>

<p>-What classes do they count?
-Do they count freshman year?
-Do A-'s count as A's and B-'s count as B's (What UMich does)?</p>

<p>From what I’ve heard they just look at what is on your transcript but I’m not sure if they look at weighted or unweighted GPA. I just hope they don’t change their admissions process in the next 2 years (when I apply).</p>
