Does playing high school varsity golf look elitist on a college application?

The Evans scholarships to caddies aren’t just for playing golf. They are very selective and do have a financial need aspect to them. I had big plans for my kids to work toward getting one, but it didn’t help that they were tiny in jr high and lugging some guy’s 50 pound bag around wouldn’t have worked out very well. We then moved when they started high school so my dreams were smashed.

The Evans Scholar house at CU is prime real estate, right across from the student union. Scholarship covers everything, and unlike an athletic scholarship require no practices, no game days, no conditioning at 5 am.

Many many years ago my uncle had a caddie scholarship. He can find any golf ball, even if it is under a bunch a leaves under a log in a gopher hole.

No need to check into; it is what it is. It won’t matter from an admissions standpoint if it’s on the transcript or not. Sorry, I was responding to @VickiSoCal and we kinda went off on a tangent.
