obviously none of us has seen this year's, but does anyone know if on previous apps they asked for AP scores?

Look at the very bottom of that page to find last year's application forms in the .pdf format.

Why are there so few blanks? They only have six places, but I imagine a large number of their applicants will have taken more exams than that. Should I attatch a seperate sheet with the rest of the grades?

more than six before senior year? nah thats not THAT common.

I think they also ask which you're planning to take in senior year, so it's likely that there are more than 6.

A lot of people attach a "brag sheet" with extra stats and info, so you might want to look into doing that. It's definitely not necessary or required (I didn't do one) but I think there is a template for that in the A is for Admissions book?

According to the information provided on the College Board web-site, there were roughly 7000 juniors last year who were named AP scholars with distinction. This designation requires 5 AP scores with an average of 4 or better. All of their scores would fit on the application . . . the few junior National AP scholars would require an additional sheet.

you may be able to crowd 2 onto one line if you have to.

should we list BC and AB-subscore separately?

I guess it depends. If the subscore is higher than the main score you probably want to list it. If the subscore is lower, don't list it. If they're the same, decide based on whether or not you're tight on space.

Brag sheets are talked about in The Truth about Getting In. I also read A is for Admission and don't remember anything about them in there. I've thought about doing something like that, but after looking over several applications that explicitely stated NOT to include anything extra like that (Ga Tech and Stanford, most recently) I probably won't. It's just more for them to read.

I didn't know the specific template people used because I didn't do one, but I'm probably wrong about which book. Thanks for correcting me

thanks guys

princeton2010,
LOL -- I'm too lazy to check out Polish Dude's link, but can confirm that P'ton definitely wants the AP scores sent to them from the College Board, as a part of the application process. This can take awhile, so that's a warning for anyone applying Early: P'ton said they definitely take the scores into consideration when making admissions decisions. (Naturally, list them too, on the app.) I actually called them about this when my D applied. We called all the admissions offices on her college list, because we discovered that they varied in their policies. Some wanted the scores as info for admissions, some only for placement (after admission).

I never sent in my official AP scores from collegeboard...

Yeah, I definitely never sent them in with my application. You simply list your scores on the app, but no verification is needed. You send your scores when you take the APs in May (after you've gotten in).

Speaking of which, Phil, I just got my AP scores today (finally!) and I got 4 on calc BC which I think = no more calc for me! Yayy That is such a miracle

Yeah, I saw your xanga post! I commented too. Haha. You beat me. Sucka :p

Remember when we would all get on CC and complain about calculus in the fall? Haha. I guess it was worth it, eh?
