<p>Of course! There are dramatic differences when it comes to educational quality and competitiveness among schools. Since you come from a competitive boarding school, your A > A from a non-competitive public/private school (SAT I, I believe, also serves as an indicator as to how hard your high school is since GPAs differ from school to school). </p>
