I currently go to the Hun School of Princeton. It is a boarding school that used to be the official for Princeton University. I am just curious if anyone on here thinks that going to a private school that is associated with Princeton will give me an edge to getting into Princeton University? We seem to have a really good acceptance rate into Princeton. About 6 kids out of 100 a year get into the University. I just want to find out if you guys think it matters. Thank you. Jake

Hey, I have friends who go to Hun. Answer in short would be no, I spoke with many friends and most of the kids who got into Princeton from Hun were recruited athletes going ED. The connections with Princeton aren't as good with Hun as with, say, Lawrenceville Prep right down route 206 (they get about 20 kids in a year, and many are not athletes). I don't think there's an advantage or a disadvantage; if anything, Hun is probably more pseronalized because of its small size and teachers will know you better (thus writing better recs). So that could be an advantage.

do you happen to know chris petrie? he just made a verbal commitment to attend princeton and play basketball for coach joe scott - pending acceptance, of course.

No, sorry I don't know the name.
