Does Questbridge Finalist status help?

So I was just wondering that if I was a Questbridge Finalist and applied through Questbridge to USC but not matched, will the fact that I was a finalist help boosts my applications a lot? Or does it not really effect it at all?

Stats:
UW GPA: 3.94 W GPA: 4.29
ACT: superscore: 31; individually, I got a 30 and a 29
EC:

NJROTC Honor Guard, Color Guard, Drill Team, Physical Fitness Team (Recognition in all of them)
Three clubs (VP of one of them)
Varsity Tennis
Unpaid Accounting/data analysis internship
300+ volunteer hours at local hospital
250 hours for a summer program for the city

Awards:

Questbridge Finalist

Thank you so much!

Btw this is for USC. Thanks!

Hi, KaiLun,
It’s hard to tell how much being a QB Finalist helps, since so many Finalists have great stats (like yours!), but QB does give you a way to stand out from other equally great applicants, gives the admissions people more information about you, and is a boost at those colleges looking to include low income students in their freshman class (which would be all of the QB schools, obviously).
Good luck!

Thank you:) Hopefully I get in fingers crossed
