I saw up to $32000 but that still makes it very expensive.
Would depend on the state (what that state charges) but there is no formal policy. They state a merit of $18k-32k.
If you want an in state match, try Hendrix and Ogelthorpe. Both have programs.

I believe it got my daughter close, maybe down to $35,000? It was on her shortlist after merit.
Most private schools have inflated sticker prices that very few people are expected to pay.
Im not sure of the rationale but I assume telling someone you’ve received $30k in scholarships makes them feel better about writing a big check. I equate it to something that’s priced at $9.99 and not $10.
