Does race play a larger or smaller part of the application process than we think?

I thought that race does play a large part whether you are black, white, yellow, or green, how right am I? Do you think this system is wrong?

Why are you posting this in the U of C forum?

because i am referring to the admissions of chicago…

how could you ever know? Who would actually admit to discrimination? Having said that UChicago is a fairly diverse place, racially speaking.

Affirmative Action plays a relatively significant role in admissions at most schools. You’ll find many debates about the merits of this system all over CC.

The OP has any number of trollish posts on this topic all over CC. Some of them have gotten some responses. If you feel the need to discuss it, go there.
