Well, science doesn’t really deal with metaphysics, but we do have neuroscience, psychology, biology, etc. I guess the question is:

Is “Is there life after death?” a purely metaphysical question?

By definition of “death,” it is a purely metaphysical question, unless “life after death” refers to re-animation of the corpse.

You find it more comforting to believe that this is all we have?

No, I find it more comforting to believe that this is more than just a test.

Sometimes I imagine tha a God exists and I feel afraid because it seems no possible, there are many things and he can’t have done them. Our galaxy has 100, 000 , 000 stars and it is one of the 100 000 000 universe’s galaxy. It’s strange.
Science wiil respond to all this questions.

“By definition of “death,” it is a purely metaphysical question”

Science has definitions of death, too. I am not saying that I personally believe that it is not a metaphysical question, but I think that most science-minded people would contend that it is not a metaphysical question (as they would contend that nothing is a metaphysical question, because to them, metaphysics is mostly nonsense).
