Does RPI require pre-calculus?

<p>So I was making up my schedule for senior year, and I wanted to take trigonometry. However, I heard that RPI wants you to take pre-calculus. Can you take something else besides pre-calculus and still get into RPI, or do you have to take pre-calculus?</p>

<p>Check the admissions section of RPIs web site. Do they require or just recommend might be what you are asking.</p>

<p>RPI does require Precalculus at a minimum. The reason for this is because the lowest-level math class offered is Calculus I.</p>
