<p>OP, the person you spoke to in admissions at Rutgers was telling you the truth. You do not need to sent SAT II scores to Rutgers and they do not look at them for admissions. Some individual departments might use them for placement, but they are not used for admissions and they are entirely optional.</p>

<p>You should believe what official representatives of the institutions say, and not what people on a web forum say. Just go to the admissions websites of RU and NJIT to find out what you need to know.</p>
