Does SAT prep really help?

I didn't prep for my March SAT and I got a 2110 (780 reading, 680 writing, 650 math). Does preparation make a substantial difference? I'm not sure if it's worth the bother, but if I'll get a good score...

Practicing helps. If SAT prep class forces you to practice, it might help. The problem is that most SAT prep covers all of the test. That would be a waste for you, as you have demonstrably cracked the code om CR. You need to focus on some types of math problems and either the essay or the writing MC questions.

Prep classes are a waste of both time and money.
Do the whole Collegeboard SAT book and you’ll be set.

Also, I’d recommend that you keep studying CR, despite what other posters have recommended.
A 780 CR is, if I’m not mistaken, about two or three questions wrong. That’s a significant number, especially when it comes to trying to get your score up those few hundred points.

you seem like you’re set already. prep classes are just a waste of money, because there’s only so much you can improve, after that you just plateau, and that same improvement can be made through self study and practice.
