Hello. I qualify for an academic scholarship to Baylor University and was wondering if that means no matter what you are pretty much guaranteed to get accepted to the university? They require no essay, and I am submitting a resume with ec's and also a letter of reccomendation. I have a 3.59 and it says you need a 2.5 to be considered for admission. I am of baptist faith, so do you think I am in?

These are the classes I have completed so far with the following grades.

World Geography W/Lab (B)
College Algebra (A)
Elementary French I (B)
Into to Philosophy (B)
Intro to Psychology (A)
Intro to Sociology (A)
Multicultural Race Issues (A)
English Comp I (A)

i think that u have a great chance but remeber that qualifying for a scholarship isn't the same as getting a scholarship, now if it was the latter, then you would got in

im a transfer...3.57 gpa.should i apply to more than 1 school then or act like i am going to? i only want to go to one which is where i am qualified for getting the scholarship.

well if you are a transfer and you really don't want to apply to another, then don't, you can just stay at the college you are at if you do not get in. I do not think acting like you are going to apply somewhere else will make them choose you. I would only suggest you apply to more than one if you were an incoming freshman, cause if you didn't get in you would be out of luck.
