Does SDSU allow alternative major requirements for transfers?

I had a question about the business general business major requirements, on the TAP section for SDSU it asks for STATS 119/250 but in cases like IGETC and uc classes they have alternatives. But it only states Math 227 as an option, could I do an alternative like stats 1 for that or would I have to take only that class?
