Does SDSU have alternatives for their major reqs?

On the TAP section for SDSU it asks for STATS 119/250 but in cases like IGETC and uc classes they have alternatives. But it only states Math 227 as an option, could I do an alternative like stats 1 for that or would I have to take only that class?

I would call admissions directly at SDSU since it is always better to get the information from the source.
