does sending the maximum # recommendations annoy admissions

I'm applying to a summer research internship and I'm interested in computational biology. They ask for two recommendations but say that if you feel it necessary for your application you can attach up to four. I've already asked for a recommendation from a science teacher from last year who loves me and writes good recommendations and my current science teacher (who probably writes good recs). I'm also going to ask my mentor from the lab I worked in this summer to write me one. Because its computational biology though I feel like I should also get a math recommendation. My math teacher this year is teaching me in both B/C Calc and AP Stat so he woul dhave a good evaluation but I'm not sure he likes me and he's a super procrastinator and doesn't start recommendations until late......

SO does max recommendations annoy admissions?

I would probably say no. I mean, how many people just submit the minimum (do the minimum expected work)?

that being said, if they choose to pick and read only two of your four lors and they are the two weakest ones, you’ve kinda screwed yourself
